Graeme is a Toronto-based independent consultant, providing services in recruitment, human resources, change management, career counselling and stakeholder relations.

In addition to consulting, Graeme’s leadership positions in the non-profit sector  include serving as Director of Human Resources at a major pan-Canadian charitable health organization with 900 unionized and non-union staff, with corporate, wholesale, research, retail, publishing, call centre, camping, government relations and public education operations. More recently, he was Director of Corporate Affairs at an accredited community-based health and social services agency in Toronto, with an in-patient unit and provincial knowledge transfer and advocacy program. In this role he oversaw HR, corporate communications, fundraising and enterprise risk management.

The common thread throughout Graeme’s career has been providing strategy and leadership as it relates to people, during organizations’ strategically critical periods. Clients range from small direct service agencies to national scope organizations, each with their own unique complexities.  Having worked with private enterprises and the public and charitable sectors, Graeme balances consensus-building skills with a focus on measurable outcomes and the bottom line.

As well as demonstrating thought leadership through various professional speaking engagements and publications, he has guest lectured at the York University School of Human Resources Management.

Graeme holds a Masters in Business Administration, Bachelors in Business with joint specialty in Human Resources and Public Relations, and is a Certified Human Resources Leader.

He is actively engaged in the health and charitable communities, and has served on the Board of Directors of ALS Canada and the Ceridian Cares Foundation. He is a runner and enthusiastic traveler, with an ever-evolving Bucket List.
